September 2010

Just returned from vacation and instrument hunting in Europe. My travels took me to Italy, France and of course my native Denmark.

Over the course of three weeks, I managed to secure a number of very nice and interesting Violins and bows, including a rare violin by Giuseppe Odoardi c.1780. A fine violin by Enrico Politi, Rome c.1930-40.   Violin bows by Eugene Sartory and Andre Richaume, is also now available for trial.

In the workshop I am currently putting the final touches on a cello based on a well known A.Stradivari model. The construction af a viola based on the "Conte Vitale"  by Andrea Guarneri, is also well under way. Time permitting, at least three new violins should also be completed before the end of the year. Please feel free to come by the workshop to check out these instruments.
